Domestic house rules - Lourmarin apartment

Check-in and out.

Check-in is on Thursday's from 16h00 and please leave the next Thursday before 10h00.
Lock all doors and close all windows on departure.
Check for obvious breakages on arrival, and note in the guest book

No smoking in the apartment.

No pets allowed in apartment.

Cleaning lady

Please leave dirty linen and towels in laundry basket in bathroom on check-out.
The cleaning is only done on Thursdays.
Guests are responsible for all household items (toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, garbage bags etc)
The following must be replaced if used: wine.

Visitors book

Please fill in the visitors book, it also serves as a communication tool for the next visitor.
And you could share usefull information with us.

Maximum capacity

Six persons. We have a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the top bedroom, a sleeper coach in the lounge and two double air matresses with airpump in the cupboard (these could fit in the top bedroom, not to sleep in the lounge)

Garbage removal

Garbage is removed on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Please leave the garbage on the right hand side across the road from the flat. Either the night before or in the morning before 06h30. You could also drop the garbage at the disposal yard - on the left (200m) just pass the soccer field.

Stove

Geyser

Most geysers work on time controls to save on electricity. It could be that you run out of hot water (if a full house and the saver is on), there would be hot water the next morning.

Keys

Keys is available from whom you booked – either Francine & Elisabeth the managers, or from the fraction owner.

TV, dvd player and surround sound

The flat is equiped with TV and Dvd player. Dvd’s are not supplied, the TV receive various French channels.

Cutlery, towels and linen

Market

Friday's is “Market Day” in Lourmarin – the town is full with the hugely successfull market in the street to the north of the flat (towards the soccer field). DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR IN THIS ZONE ON THE THURSDAY NIGHT! The sellers are there early and they will just close your car in. Ample no-parking signs (red) would advise you where not to park - the times and days shown in French.

Parking

It is a fact that Lourmarin is very busy during the summer holidays. Parking is usually a few hundred meters away from the flat. Do not keep articles of value in the car. Do not park in the market area on Thursday nights. No problem to do a quick baggage drop-off and pick-up in front of the flat with traffic behind you.
